1. Orders & Customization

Q: Are your products custom made?
Yes. All of our window coverings and decorative hardware are custom cut and made to order based on the specifications you provide.

Q: Can I cancel or modify my order?
Because production begins quickly, orders cannot be changed or cancelled once they are submitted. Please review all measurements and selections carefully before checkout.

2. Returns & Refunds 

Q: Are custom orders refundable?
All products are custom made and are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Q: What if my product arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged:

  • Damage must be noted with the delivery driver at time of delivery.

  • Photos and video of packaging and product must be taken immediately.

  • Documentation must be emailed to customerservice@thehomecoverings.com within 24 hours of delivery.

Failure to follow this process may prevent a replacement from being issued.


3. Measurements

Q: How do I measure?
We recommend carefully reviewing our measuring guide prior to ordering. You are responsible for the accuracy of all measurements submitted.

Q: What if I measure incorrectly?
Because all products are custom made to your specifications, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds due to measurement errors.


4. Production & Shipping

Q: How long does production take?
Production typically takes approximately 2 weeks.

Q: How long is shipping?
Transit time is typically 3–4 business days once your order ships.

Q: Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, we ship throughout the United States.


5. Color & Material Disclaimer

Q: Will the product look exactly like it does online?
Every computer monitor and mobile device displays colors differently. We cannot guarantee exact color representation on your screen. We strongly recommend ordering samples prior to placing a custom order.

Because different materials absorb paint and stain differently, slight variations between components may occur. These natural variations blend once installed and are not considered defects.


6. Installation

Q: Are installation instructions included?
Yes. Installation hardware and instructions are included where applicable. All Forest Drapery Hardware does not include screws.


7. Warranty

Q: Do your products come with a warranty?
All products carry a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, or normal wear.


8. Wholesale Program

Q: Do you offer trade pricing for professionals?
Yes. The Home Coverings offers wholesale pricing for qualified trade professionals, including interior designers, contractors, installers, and retail partners. 

Approved accounts receive access to exclusive trade pricing and our complete selection of drapery hardware and window coverings.
